Commission Painting Service

Hey there everybody!

It's been nearly a year since I have posted on this blog. A lot has happened in that span of time. I've been making a lot of videos on my youtube channel, and I've started my own commission painting service. I've been having a difficult time wrangling up my first few customers, so if any of you loyal readers would like to request a quote from me please by all means feel free to check out my website! Hot Dice Miniatures

Also feel free to check out the youtube videos I've been making. I've embedded a couple below.

Youtube!

Youtube has supplanted this blog venture for me. Writing articles is a great creative exercise which I can foresee my self doing again in the future, but for now creating video is where my attention lays.

If you're interested in some video content then please check out my latest episode of "The Closer". I take wargaming projects from 0% completion to 100% done.

New Project

I've been hard at work painting tons of new miniatures, but I haven't had any time to stop & take pictures of them. The reason for this would be my allotment of free time being completely sucked up by this new project.

If you're painting and looking for something to throw on youtube in the background while you work away I give you: The Storyteller: The Streets of Mordheim Episode One.

Disclaimer: We definitely got a few rules wrong here and there; we're working on it.

2 Evil Guys

Over the last couple of months I've made a hobby realization: Figure painting is a ton of fun! However army painting is the sort of tedious task that might be served up in hell.

I've been hard at work climbing three mountains lately which have prevented me from figure painting. 1.) I'm in the final stages of the Kings of War project. 2.) Scrubbing miniatures that have had paint on them since before I was born requires a lot of elbow grease. 3.) Building a D&D campaign from scratch is an incredibly rewarding creative outlet, but may be a tinsy bit more work than I bargained for.

With all of that said I have managed to find the time to squeak out these two lovelies. They're metal and they're fabulous.

Some people are crazy... and I reap the rewards!

A local shop-keep advertised on facebook, "lot of classic mini's for 40$". The ad included 5 or so blurry pictures of some white-primed minis. Wait a second... are those rogue trader...wait Squats!? To my surprise the post was 3 hours old by the time I had peeped it with zero replies. Needless to say I am now the luckiest mini collector of the month. Blurry pictures inbound:

Some OG space marines. Not pictured are the bits to make about 10 more with two more of those badass pre-heresy missile launchers.
